Delete your account and data.

Valoquent stores conversation transcripts, character memory, and account credentials to deliver the experience. All of it can be deleted. Two paths are available: in-app deletion is instant; email requests are processed within 30 days.

How to delete your account.

Account deletion was built into V1. The fastest path is inside the app; no support ticket required.

Delete in-app

Complete deletion happens immediately from inside the app. All personal data is removed atomically.

  • Open Valoquent and go to your Profile
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap Delete Account
  • Confirm the deletion
Email request

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, send a deletion request by email. Include your account email address in the subject line. All personal data is deleted within 30 days of a confirmed request.

What gets deleted.

Account deletion removes all personally identifiable information from Valoquent's systems. The following data is deleted within 30 days of a confirmed request (in-app deletion is immediate).

Account credentials
Email address, authentication tokens, and any profile data associated with the account.
Conversation transcripts
All recorded text from sessions with historical figure characters, used for the conversation meter, learning reports, and the Tapestry.
Character memory
Topics discussed, emotional moments logged, and unfinished threads stored per character across sessions.
Subscription status
Entitlement records and purchase history held in Valoquent's systems. App Store purchase records are governed separately by Apple; contact Apple for those.

What is retained.

After deletion, a small set of anonymized operational records is kept for fraud prevention. No personally identifiable information is included.

Fraud-prevention counts
Anonymized aggregate counts used to detect abuse (for example, repeated account creation to exploit trial periods). These records contain no name, email, or conversation content. They are purged after 90 days.
